Tyler Technologies Grows Land & Vital Record Business with Parker-Lowe & Associates Acquisition
Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Parker-Lowe & Associates of Ocracoke, North Carolina. Parker-Lowe & Associates provides scanning and retrieval software and related services for land record and social services offices in local governments.
Parker-Lowe, which was established in 1989, has developed software designed specifically for the Register of Deeds and Department of Social Services offices in North Carolina. The company has successfully delivered a comprehensive recording system—including integrated point of sale cashiering, indexing, imaging and public access to county records—to North Carolina local government offices for 20 years.
"We are pleased that Parker-Lowe & Associates is joining the Tyler organization,” explained Brett Cate, president of Tyler's Land & Vital Record Solutions. "I believe this will prove to be a mutually beneficial transaction for Parker-Lowe, Tyler and all our clients. Tyler will be able to leverage our resources to provide support to Parker-Lowe’s clients as well as take the opportunity to further grow our business in North Carolina.”
The addition of Parker-Lowe extends Tyler’s presence in North Carolina and increases the number of recording clients in that region. With this acquisition, 28 clients will join the Tyler family as will experienced Parker-Lowe employees, including founder Keith Parker-Lowe. Parker-Lowe clients will be able to take advantage of Tyler’s resources and operational depth as Tyler provides operations support and products and services to augment Parker-Lowe’s solutions.
"We are very excited to join Tyler Technologies,” stated Keith Parker-Lowe, president and founder of Parker-Lowe & Associates. "Tyler is a great company and a great fit for our products and our clients. Tyler’s commitment to building long-term relationships with clients as well as providing quality products and services is exactly what my company has been about for 20 years.”
