Ultra Electronics Gets $500 Mln Deal From Pratt & Whitney

(RTTNews) - Ultra Electronics Holdings PLC (ULE.L), a defence, security, transport and energy company, said its Controls business, based in Greenford, received a long term supply agreement from Pratt & Whitney Division of United Technologies in Connecticut for electronic control unit that manages the F135 engine's Electrical Ice Protection System.

The agreement is effective for the life of the programme, or a minimum of 30 years. Based upon the potential production volumes, in-service spares, repairs and additional through-life support, the agreement is valued at about $500 million.
