United Technologies Corp. Q2 Profit Rises 1%

(RTTNews) - United Technologies Corp. (UTX) released earnings for its second quarter that climbed compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $1.51 billion, or $1.82 per share. This was higher than $1.49 billion, or $1.67 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 1.2% to $14.87 billion. This was up from $14.69 billion last year.
