Vantage Resort Realty to Host Little Pink Houses of Hope

OCEAN CITY, Md., May 19, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- During the week of June 3-10, 2017, Vantage Resort Realty, a vacation rental management company in Ocean City, Maryland, will host Ocean City's second-ever Little Pink Houses of Hope beach retreat. This charitable initiative was made possible by vacation rental owners who donated a total of twelve properties to the cause. Little Pink Houses of Hope is a non-profit organization that provides free, week-long retreats for breast cancer patients and their families to facilitate healing, relaxation, and reconnection. While in Ocean City, families will get to spend quality time together alongside other families who've had similar experiences. Shared meals, fun activities and outings are also being planned to make it a special, relaxing experience.

The event couldn't be possible without the generosity of homeowners who have given up their properties (and a week's rent) to become "Beach House Angels" for the visiting families. 

"We are so grateful for our property owners – they are amazing," says Vantage Client Relations Manager Eliana Miteva, who helped organize Little Pink Houses of Hope's first visit to Ocean City, MD in 2014. "They are the ones making it happen. We are inspired by all of the enthusiasm and support. Everyone is coming together to make this a great week for the families."

Mary Davis of Columbia, MD is one of Vantage Resort Realty's property owners who is donating her vacation home in the Sea Cabin oceanfront building on 55^th Street. Davis, who works in Human Relations teaching corporate responsibility, strives to give back personally, as well as professionally. 

"Our particular location is a good place for families to come and relax," says Davis, who recently lost two family members to cancer. "We see this as an opportunity to impact people's lives. We support several causes, but cancer is one that's become personal to us. It's important to us to give back.  It is part of who we are and our values."
