Vipshop Holdings Posts Q3 Profit - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Vipshop Holdings Ltd. (VIPS) Monday reported third-quarter profit of $12.0 million, compared to a loss of $1.5 million in the same period last year. On a per-ADS basis, earnings were $0.21, compared to a loss of $0.03 per share.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter was $15.1 million or $0.26 per ADS. On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.21 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased 146.1 percent to $383.7 million from $155.9 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $364.65 million.

Looking ahead, the company has forecast fourth-quarter revenues in a range of $580 million to $590 million. Analysts currently expect revenues of $532.64 million for the fourth quarter.
