Vital Therapies Prices IPO Below Range

(RTTNews) - Vital Therapies, Inc. said Wednesday that it has priced its initial public offering of 4.5 million shares of common stock at a price to the public of $12.00 per share, which is below its previously estimated price range of $13.00 to $15.00 per share.

The company has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 675,000 shares of common stock.

The shares will begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on Thursday, April 17 under the ticker symbol "VTL."

BofA Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. William Blair & Company, L.L.C. and Canaccord Genuity Inc. are acting as co-managers.
