Callers to AT&T 1-800-YellowPages receive free directory assistance listings in exchange for listening to targeted, relevant audio advertisements during the call. Callers can search for telephone numbers either by specific name or by business category, where the caller knows the type of business listing (e.g., pizza, nightclub, or auto repair), but does not have a specific business name in mind.
