Waldbaum’s and Pathmark Salute "Local Heroes” with Special Discounts on First Saturdays Throughout the Summer

On Saturday, June 4^th, the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc. (A&P, OTC: GAPTQ) will kick off the first in a summer-long series of "Salute to Local Heroes” events in all Waldbaum’s and Pathmark stores.

Customers will receive five percent off one shopping order of $30 or more if they, or a member of their family, belong to a police department, fire department, school staff, hospital staff, military, military reserves, or are a veteran or civil servant. To receive the discount, all customers need to do is present the Salute to Local Heroes coupon from a Waldbaum’s or Pathmark circular along with a Club Card.

Salute to Local Heroes events will take place on the first Saturday of every month throughout the summer: June 4^th, July 2^nd and August 6^th.
