Welltower Inc. Announces 6% Advance In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Welltower Inc. (HCN) reported a profit for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $420.77 million, or $1.16 per share. This was higher than $396.47 million, or $1.12 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.15 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 10.2% to $1.08 billion. This was up from $0.98 billion last year.
