Winnebago Industries Q3 Profit Tops View

(RTTNews) - Winnebago Industries Inc. (WGO) reported that its net income for the third quarter of fiscal 2021 was $71.3 million or $2.05 per share compared to a net loss of $12.4 million or $0.37 per share in the prior year fiscal quarter.

Operating income was $102.4 million for the quarter compared to a loss of $8.2 million in the third fiscal quarter of last year.

Consolidated adjusted earnings per share was $2.16 for the third quarter compared to adjusted loss per share of $0.26 in the same period last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $1.77 per share for the third-quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues for the third quarter were $960.7 million, an increase of 138.7% from last year's $402.5 million, driven by strong end consumer demand and consistent execution.
