Wipro Q4 Net Profit Up 41% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Wipro Ltd. (WIT) reported 41% higher net income from continuing operations of 22.3 billion indian rupees, or $371 million, for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014, versus 15.76 billion rupees last year. On a non-GAAP basis, adjusted net income from continuing operations totaled 22.3 billion rupees, or $371 million, in the recent period.

Quarterly revenues on continuing operations came in at 117.0 billion rupees, or $2.0 billion, an increase of 22% year-on-year. Three-month IT Services revenues grew 24% to 106.2 billion rupees or $1.8 billion.

Looking ahead to the first quarter, the firm projects revenues from its IT Services unit to be in the range of $1.715 billion - $1.755 billion.
