Wisconsin Energy Q3 Profit Declines - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Wisconsin Energy Corp. (WEC) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $126.3 million, or $0.56 per share, up from $137.5 million, or $0.60 per share, a year ago.

According to the company, costs pertaining to Integrys Energy acquisition lowered earnings by one cent per share in this year's third quarter. Excluding the effect of this item, adjusted earnings in the third quarter of 2014 were $0.57 per share.

On average, 10 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.53 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Operating revenues for the latest quarter were $1.03 billion, down from $1.05 billion in the comparable quarter last year, while 5 analysts estimated revenues of $1.05 billion.
