WisdomTree Investments Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - WisdomTree Investments Inc. (WETF) reported the third quarter of 2013 net income of $15.0 million or $0.11 per share up from $4.5 million or $0.03 per share in the third quarter of 2012.

Exchange-traded fund or ETF assets under management or "AUM" were $31.4 billion at September 30, 2013, up 86.8% from $16.8 billion at September 30, 2012, and up 8.2% from $29.0 billion at June 30, 2013. Net inflows for the third quarter of 2013 were $1.2 billion as compared to $1.0 billion in the third quarter of 2012 and $5.0 billion in the second quarter of 2013.

Total revenues increased 83.0% to $39.6 million as compared to the third quarter of 2012 and 6.2% compared to the second quarter of 2013 primarily due to higher average AUM as a result of positive net inflows into our ETFs and market appreciation.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.09 per share and revenues of $39.24 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
