YY Q4 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - YY Inc. (YY) Tuesday reported fourth-quarter profit of 192.0 million Chinese Yuan or 3.21 yuan per ADS, up from 33.2 million yuan or 0.63 yuan per ADS in the same period last year.

In U.S dollars, fourth-quarter profit amounted to $31.7 million or $0.53 per share.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter were 216.9 million yuan, or $35.8 million. Adjusted earnings per ADS were 3.63 yuan or $0.60 per share. On average, four analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.46 per share for the quarter.

Revenues increased 129.5 percent to 612.3 million yuan, or $101.1 million, from 266.8 million yuan last year. Analysts expected revenues of $84.48 million.

Looking ahead, the company has forecast first-quarter revenues in a range of 625 million yuan to 635 million yuan. Analysts currently expect first-quarter revenues of $91.70 million.
