Accellent Inc. -- Moody's: Accellent's ratings are unchanged following news of acquisition by Greatbatch

New York, August 27, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service commented that Accellent Inc.'s ("Accellent") B3 Corporate Family Rating and stable outlook remain unchanged following the announcement that the company has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Greatbatch, Inc. ("Greatbatch", not rated by Moody's). Greatbatch is a provider of outsourced manufacturing and engineering services to leading companies within the medical device industry and customers within the energy, military, and environmental markets. Under the terms of the agreement, Greatbatch will acquire Accellent, which does business under the name Lake Region Medical, for approximately $1.73 billion in cash and stock.
