Allstate Corporation (The) -- Moody's rates Allstate's preferred securities Baa3(hyb); outlook stable
New York, December 02, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service has assigned a Baa3(hyb) rating to Allstate Corporation's ("Allstate"; NYSE: ALL, senior debt at A3, stable) planned issuance of non-cumulative perpetual preferred stock, launched today and expected to be executed in a repetitive series of issuances. The transactions will constitute draw downs from Allstate's shelf registration filed on April 30, 2012. Proceeds from the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes. The rating outlook is stable.
