Mexico, September 10, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service today affirmed all Banco Mercantil del Norte, S.A.'s (Banorte) ratings and changed the outlook to stable from negative. The ratings affirmed were the Baa1 foreign currency deposit rating, the Baa3 (hyb) long-term subordinated debt and Ba1 (hyb) junior subordinated debt ratings. All the existing short-term ratings were affirmed. Moody's also affirmed Banco Mercantil del Norte, S.A (Cayman Islands)'s A3 global foreign currency senior debt rating. All these ratings have a stable outlook.
