DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc. -- Moody's rates DaVita's $5.5 billion credit facilities Ba1; Ba3 CFR affirmed

New York, June 03, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service assigned a Ba1 rating to DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc.'s ("DaVita") proposed $5.5 billion senior secured credit facilities, consisting of a $1.0 billion revolving credit facility expiring 2019, a $1.0 billion term loan A facility due in 2019 and a $3.5 billion term loan B facility due in 2021. Concurrently, DaVita's existing senior notes are upgraded to B1 from B2. DaVita's Ba3 Corporate Family Rating and Ba3-PD Probability of Default Rating are affirmed. As part of the transaction, the company plans to issue up to $1.75 billion of senior unsecured debt in the near-term, at which time Moody's expects to assign a B1 rating. The rating outlook is stable.
