New York, February 24, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service said that Finmeccanica S.p.A's (Ba1 negative) announced binding agreement to sell the bulk of its transportation assets to Hitachi, Ltd. (A3 stable) is a credit positive development for Finmeccanica but does not affect the company's current Ba1 senior unsecured debt rating. The rating outlook remains negative.
