New York, May 20, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service comments that the announced sale of a Spanish specialty steel subsidiary for EUR155 million (BRL620 million) to Clerbil SL (unrated) is modestly credit positive for Gerdau S.A. (Ba3 negative), but has no impact on the ratings because the sale will not significantly affect the company's future operations or capital structure.
