HealthSouth Corporation -- Moody's rates HealthSouth's proposed senior notes Ba3; Ba3 CFR unchanged
New York, March 09, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service assigned a Ba3 (LGD 4) rating to HealthSouth Corporation's (HealthSouth) proposed offering of $300 million of senior unsecured notes due 2023. Moody's understands that the proceeds of the offering will be used to fund the call of HealthSouth's 8.125% notes due 2020. HealthSouth's existing ratings, including its Ba3 Corporate Family Rating and Ba3-PD Probability of Default Rating are unchanged given Moody's expectation that credit metrics will not be meaningfully impacted by this transaction. The stable rating outlook is also unchanged.
