Toronto, February 10, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service today assigned a Aa2 issuer rating to the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). This is the first time Moody's is rating the IESO. The outlook is negative. At the same time Moody's has withdrawn its Aa2/Negative issuer rating on the Ontario Power Authority following its amalgamation with the IESO.
