Intel Corporation -- Moody's assigns an A1 rating to Intel's proposed senior unsecured debt; outlook stable
New York, July 22, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") assigned an A1 rating to Intel Corporation's proposed senior unsecured debt offering, the proceeds of which will be used to finance the pending acquisition of Altera Corporation for $16.7 billion in cash. Both boards of directors have approved the transaction, and subject to Altera's shareholder vote and customary regulatory and closing conditions, Intel expects the acquisition to close over the next six to nine months. The rating outlook remains stable.
