Moody's: Few North American chemical companies will refinance at first call; cash interest savings modest
New York, September 20, 2016 -- North American chemical companies will refinance most of their $10 billion in speculative-grade bonds by the end of 2017, Moody's Investors Service says in a new report. But many of the companies won't take out bonds at their first call dates, and for the most part cash interest savings will be modest.
