Moody's has updated the sale information for American Samoa's General Revenue and Refunding Bonds; ratings unaffected

New York, November 05, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service reports the change in sale information for the Territory of American Samoa's General Revenue and Refunding Bonds, issued through the American Samoa Economic Development Authority. Prior to the sale, the issuer split the General Revenue and Refunding Bonds, Series 2015B (Federally Taxable) bonds into two series: Series 2015B (Federally Taxable) and Series 2015C (Federally Taxable). The Series 2015A (Tax-Exempt) and Series 2015C (Federally Taxable) bonds were sold August 21, 2015. The sale of the Series 2015B bonds has been postponed indefinitely. The sale date and series information have been updated. These is no impact on the assigned Ba3 ratings.
