Moody's: No rating impact following replacement of clearing house in GC FTGENCAT CAIXA TARRAGONA 1, FTA

Madrid, December 15, 2016 -- Moody's has been requested to assess the impact on the ratings of the notes issued by GC FTGENCAT CAIXA TARRAGONA 1, FTA following the replacement of Servicio de Compensación y Liquidación de la Bolsa de valores de Barcelona (SCLBARNA) in its role of clearing house. In Moody's opinion, the appointment of Sociedad de Gestión de los Sistemas de Registro, Compensación y Liquidación (IBERCLEAR) as the new clearing house will not, in and of itself and at this time, result in a reduction or withdrawal of the current ratings of the notes (the "Notes") issued in this Spanish transaction.
