Moody's: North American M&A to pick up before the end of quantitative easing
Toronto, June 05, 2014 -- Over the next year, Moody's Investors Service expects merger-and-acquisition activity (M&A) to accelerate among North American non-financial corporates as companies look to take advantage of favorable credit conditions before the end of the US Federal Reserve's quantitative easing (QE). Companies may also look to M&A as a way to meet growth goals, given economic conditions that are encouraging but possibly not robust enough for meeting these goals organically.
