Moody's: Outlook for US Consumer Durables Industry Remains Positive
New York, May 30, 2014 -- The outlook for the US consumer durables industry remains positive, Moody's Investors Service says in a new report, "Outlook Stays Positive as US Housing Market Improves, Albeit at An Uneven Pace." Although the housing recovery has been choppier than expected, it is still sufficiently strong to benefit home products companies, which generate about half the sector's revenue and operating profit.
