Moody's: US auto ABS credit quality to decline marginally, issuance to be flat, in 2014
New York, November 25, 2013 -- The credit quality of the US auto asset-backed securities (ABS) sector will continue to decline in 2014, albeit marginally, reflecting the modest but ongoing decline in the underlying credit of auto ABS collateral pools, according to a new report from Moody's Investors Service, "2014 Outlook - US Auto ABS: Sector credit quality remains stable despite weakening in underlying credit trends."
