OMNOVA Solutions Inc. -- Moody's says that shareholder agreement avoids proxy fight for OMNOVA

New York, February 23, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service said that OMNOVA Solutions, Inc.'s agreement with Barrington Capital Group, L.P., will enable the company to avoid a credit negative proxy fight in the spring, but the extent to which the company will adopt Barrington's proposals and the resultant impact on OMNOVA's credit profile remains uncertain at present.
