New York, August 20, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service said today in a published comment that the amendment to Reddy Ice Corporation's ("Reddy Ice") first lien credit agreement is a moderate credit positive, but it does not immediately impact the parent company's B3 Corporate Family Rating (CFR) or stable outlook. The proposed amendment will benefit the company's liquidity by resetting the facility's only financial maintenance covenant, a cap on the total net leverage ratio.
