Sydbank A/S -- Moody's: Outlook turns stable for Danish banking system
London, 27 August 2014 -- The outlook for Denmark's banking system has been changed to stable from negative, says Moody's Investors Service. The drivers of the outlook change are (1) the continued stabilisation of the operating environment; and (2) reduced risks -- lower expected loan write downs and reduced risks from mortgage-loan refinancing -- for the banks and mortgage credit institutions (MCIs). However, Moody's also says that the income outlook for the sector is uncertain because additional pressure on margins might emerge.
