Tatfondbank -- Moody's downgrades Tatfondbank's long-term deposit and debt ratings to B3 and baseline credit assessment to caa1

London, 30 October 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service has today downgraded the long-term local and foreign-currency deposit and senior unsecured debt ratings of Tatfondbank to B3 from B2. It has also downgraded the bank's baseline credit assessment (BCA) and adjusted BCA to caa1 from b3. This is driven by accelerated pressure on the bank's financial fundamentals, in particular volatile liquidity, and weak profitability. Final B3 ratings incorporate a one-notch uplift from the bank's BCA based on our assessment of moderate likelihood of support from the government of Tatarstan (Ba2, Negative). The rating agency has also affirmed the bank's short-term deposit ratings at Not-Prime. The outlook on the long-term ratings is negative.
