New York, September 28, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service, ("Moody's") has Moody's has affirmed U.S. TelePacific Corp.'s ("TelePacific" or "the Company") B3 corporate family rating (CFR) following the issuance of new (unrated) senior secured notes. The proceeds of the notes offering were used to fund the acquisition of DSCI Corporation ("DSCI"). In connection with the issuance of new notes, Moody's has upgraded TelePacific's probability of default rating (PRD) to B3-PD from Caa1-PD. The upgrade reflects the recent change to company's capital structure which now features secured notes in addition to the existing secured bank facilities. The outlook remains stable.
