Ireland House Price Inflation At 15-Month Low

(RTTNews) - Ireland's residential property price inflation slowed markedly to a 15-month low in July, the Central Statistics Office reported Wednesday.

Property prices advanced 9.4 percent in July from last year, which was the slowest growth since April 2014, when prices advanced 8.5 percent.

House prices gained 10.7 percent in June and 13.8 percent in May.

Meanwhile, monthly growth in house prices rose to 0.9 percent from 0.1 percent in June. This was the fifth consecutive rise in prices.

In Dublin residential property prices rose by 0.7 percent from June and were 9 percent higher than in July 2014.
