South Korea Inflation Slips 0.2% In July
(RTTNews) - Overall consumer prices in South Korea were down a seasonally adjusted 0.2 percent on month in July, Statistics Korea said on Tuesday - owing to a decline in crude oil prices.
That missed expectations for an increase of 0.1 percent, which would have been unchanged from the June reading.
On a yearly basis, consumer prices rose 2.8 percent - again shy of expectations for 3.0 percent and down from 3.2 percent in the previous month.
