South Korea PPI Rises 0.2% In January
(RTTNews) - Producer prices in South Korea were up 0.2 percent on month in January, the Bank of Korea said on Tuesday - unchanged from the December reading.
Among the individual components, prices for agricultural, forestry and marine products were up 4.8 percent, while manufacturing industry products shed 0.2 percent, electric power, gas and water supply jumped 2.2 percent and services were up 0.3 percent.
On a yearly basis, prices dipped 0.3 percent after shedding 0.4 percent in the previous month.
