Alfred Berg Nordic High Yield is a fixed income fund that mainly invests in high-yield bonds issued by companies with their head office or parts of their operations in the Nordic region, and which have achieved a credit rating equivalent to BB+/Ba1 or lower. The management compay will, through a disciplined investment process, seek investments that are considered attractive given the issuer's credit risk, any collateral, and the economic outlook of the industry and the issuer. Due to the structure of the market, the Fund will normally have a low interest duration, which will never exceed two years, and a credit duration of less than three years. The Fund will thus have a good return potential when credit margins are at a high level or when these margins are declining; At the same time, the fund will be partially protected against a general increase in fixed income markets.
