Aber/Harry Winston Appoints Nancy Murray Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications
Aber/Harry Winston today announced Nancy Murray has joined the company
as Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, a
newly created position. The appointment is effective immediately. Ms.
Murray will report to Thomas J. O’Neill,
President of Aber and Chief Executive Officer of Harry Winston on all
matters relating to investor relations, and she will report to Susy
Korb, Chief Marketing Officer and Creative Director regarding corporate
communications responsibilities.
Ms. Murray, who is based in New York, will be responsible for the company’s
investor relations, business and trade media communications, corporate
events and will act as the company’s primary
jewelry and watch liaison with the consumer and fashion media.

growth as we execute on strategies that require a solid communications
professional to clearly articulate our message to analysts, investors
and the business media,” said Robert
Gannicott, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aber.

corporate communications and her expertise in working with investors and
analysts, Nancy is a key addition to our management team. We look

growth strategy,” said Thomas J. O’Neill.
Previously Ms. Murray was a senior vice president at Polo Ralph Lauren
where she served in a variety of communications positions from 1999
until August 2007. During her tenure at Polo, she was the company’s
chief liaison to the investment community and had oversight of
corporate, employee, and fashion communications, as well as investor
relations. Prior to joining Polo, she was Vice President of Investor
Relations and Corporate Communications at BF Holdings, Inc., responsible
for financial and media relations, crisis management and public
relations for the New York-based advertising and marketing corporation.
Previously, she held newspaper management positions leading to her
appointment as Vice President and an Officer of the Denver Rocky
Mountain News, an E.W. Scripps property, in 1992. Prior to that, Ms.
Murray spent 15 years as a journalist and editor with regional
newspapers, beginning as a Fashion Editor at the Houston Chronicle where
she was responsible for market coverage in New York, Milan, London and
Paris.
Harry Winston Diamond Corporation (NASDAQ: ABER; TSX: ABZ), is
scheduled to become the new name of Aber Diamond Corporation in fall
2007. The company is a specialist diamond enterprise with assets in the
mining and retail segments of the diamond industry. The company supplies
rough diamonds to the global market from its 40% interest in the Diavik
Diamond Mine, located at Lac de Gras in Canada’s
Northwest Territories. The company’s
