    MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 8, 2005--Accredo Health, Incorporated (NASDAQ: ACDO) announced today that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, relating to the proposed acquisition of Accredo by Medco Health Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MHS), was not extended by a second request for information by the government and expired at midnight on April 7, 2005.
    On Feb.23, 2005, Medco announced a definitive agreement to acquire Accredo in a cash and stock transaction.
    Accredo Health, Incorporated provides specialized pharmacy and related services pursuant to agreements with biotechnology drug manufacturers relating to the treatment of patients with certain costly, chronic diseases.
