Advent Software Names Stephanie DiMarco Chair Of Board - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Advent Software, Inc. (ADVS), a provider of software and services for the investment management industry, Wednesday announced that Stephanie DiMarco has been named Chair of its Board of Directors, replacing John Scully, who resigned from the board, effective today.

DiMarco founded Advent in June 1983 and was Chief Executive Officer from December 2003 to June 2012. She served as Chair of the Board from November 1995 until December 2003, and as a member of the Board thereafter.

Scully has been a director since October 2003 and was appointed Chairman of the Board in December 2003.

In addition, Wendell Van Auken has been named Lead Independent Director. A director since September 1995, Van Auken is currently a Partner Emeritus at Mayfield Fund.
