Allegheny Technologies Posts Loss In Q3 - Quick Facts

(ATI) reported third-quarter loss from continuing operations attributable to ATI common stockholders of $28.4 million, or $0.27 per share, versus an income of $31.3 million, or $0.29 per share, last year. Net loss attributable to ATI was $33.8 million, or $0.32 per share, as against a profit of $35.3 million, or $0.32 per share a year before. On average, 11 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected loss per share of $0.24 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.
