Allstate Reports Q4 Operating EPS Of $1.72 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - The Allstate Corporation (ALL) reported fourth-quarter net income to shareholders of $795 million or $1.86 per share, compared to $810 million or $1.76 per share, prior year. Operating earnings per share was $1.72, for the quarter.

Revenues decreased to $8.76 billion from $8.79 billion last year.

The board of Allstate has decided to raise the quarterly dividend by 7% for the first quarter of 2015. The $0.30 per common share dividend will be payable on April 1, 2015 to stockholders of record at the close of business on March 2, 2015. In addition, a new $3 billion share repurchase program was approved to start immediately upon completion of the current $2.5 billion program, which is expected in the first quarter of 2015.
