Alm. Brand – New CIO appointed

Alm. Brand has appointed Kristian Hjort-Madsen as its new Director of Digitalisation, IT and Innovation. As part of the appointment, Mr. Hjort-Madsen will also become a member of the group’s senior management. He will take up the position on 1 November 2018.


Kristian Hjort Madsen has an MSc in Software Engineering and a PhD in Information System Planning from the IT University of Copenhagen. Throughout his career, Mr. Hjort-Madsen has been focused on IT, innovation and digitalisation, and he has previously worked at the Ministry of Finance, Accenture, BEC and most recently as CIO of PFA.
