Altice Closes Acquisition Of Cablevision Systems

(RTTNews) - Altice (ATCV.OB) announced that it has completed the acquisition of Cablevision Systems Corp.(CVC), the leading communications service provider in the New York metropolitan area.

Cablevision together with Suddenlink will form Altice USA, the #4 cable operator in the U.S., which serves more than 4.6 million Optimum and Suddenlink customers across 20 states.

In September 2015, Altice said it agreed to buy Cablevision Systems Corp. for $34.90 per share in an all-cash deal valued about $17.7 billion, including debt.

Altice USA said today that it has appointed Dexter Goei as President of Altice N.V.; Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Altice USA. Charles Stewart will be Co-President and Chief Financial Officer of Altice USA.

Hakim Boubazine will be Co-President and Chief Operating Officer of Altice USA.
