American Tower Corp. Earnings Advance 23% In Q4

(RTTNews) - American Tower Corp. (AMT) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that increased from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $541.73 million, or $1.27 per share. This was up from $441.68 million, or $1.10 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.23 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 21.9% to $1.28 billion. This was up from $1.05 billion last year.
