Apogee Enterprises Q2 Profit Rises, Narrows FY14 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Apogee Enterprises, Inc. (APOG) Wednesday reported second-quarter profit of $6.12 million or $0.21 per share, up from $5.06 million or $0.18 per share in the same period last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.23 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Sales improved slightly to $178.29 million from $175.94 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $187.0 million.
