Apollo Completes Acquisition Of IGT's Gaming & Digital Business, Everi Holdings For Approx. $6.3 Bln

(RTTNews) - Apollo (APO), Tuesday announced the completion of acquisitions of International Game Technology PLC's Gaming & Digital Business and Everi Holdings Inc. by a holding company owned by funds managed by Apollo affiliates for a total consideration of about $6.3 billion.

The all-cash deal aims to integrate the two businesses into a combined entity in the coming months, forming a privately held global leader in gaming, digital and financial technology solutions.

The combined entity will operate under the IGT name with headquarters in Las Vegas.

As per previous announcements, Hector Fernandez would assume the role of CEO of IGT in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Following the acquisition of Everi, the company's stock has been delisted from the New York Stock Exchange with its shareholders receiving $14.25 per share in cash, and IGT receiving $4.05 billion in cash.

Currently, IGT is trading at $16.37, up 3.54 percent on the New York Stock Exchange.
