Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Completes Sale of its U.K. Reinsurance Operations

ITASCA, Ill., March 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced today that it has completed the previously disclosed sale of substantially all Gallagher Re's U.K. reinsurance brokerage business to Aon Corporation. While the U.S. reinsurance sale to Aon was completed February 22, 2008, the U.K. transaction had been subject to certain conditions which have been fulfilled.
