BNY ConvergEx Group Announces Eze Castle Software Earns Top Industry Awards

NEW YORK, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BNY ConvergEx Group, LLC, a leader in agency brokerage and investment technology solutions, announced today that Eze Castle Software LLC (ECS) has been recognized with four industry awards for company growth and premier best-of-breed OMS technology for hedge funds. These awards acknowledge ECS not only for revenue and user count growth, but also for providing cutting-edge technology and high touch service to customers. Eze Castle Software is a leading provider of technology solutions to multi-strategy, global investment managers and a member of BNY ConvergEx Group.

ECS has been recognized with the following awards since September: * Deloitte's 2006 Technology Fast 50 award for New England's fastest growing companies (ranked 43). * Deloitte's 2006 Technology Fast 500 award for fastest growing companies in North America (ranked 409). * SecuritiesTech 50 2006 ranking of front office solution providers by user count (ranked 26th). The SecTech50 is given by Securities Industry News and Financial Insights, an IDC company. * Alpha Magazine's 2006 Alpha Award for Service Providers (recognized as a top provider in the Trade Order Management System category).

ECS's 289 percent revenue growth over five years ranked them among the top technology providers in Deloitte's 2006 Fast 50 ranking of New England's fastest growing companies and their Fast 500 ranking of fastest growing companies in North America. ECS was ranked 43 in the Fast 50 program and 409 in the Fast 500 program.

Securities Industry News and Financial Insights also recognized ECS for growth, naming them to their SecuritiesTech 50 ranking of most widely used front office service providers. ECS was ranked number 26 on the list, with more than 2,450 individuals using their order management system and related products.

In September, Alpha Magazine, a leading industry publication targeting the hedge fund community, announced the results of a reader survey conducted earlier this year in which readers were asked to vote for their top service providers. The survey ranked ECS as a top buy-side OMS vendor to hedge funds.

"We are honored that each of these groups has recognized Eze Castle Software for its accomplishments," says Tom Gavin, Chief Executive Officer at Eze Castle Software LLC. "Since the company's inception in 1995, our goal has been to be seen by our clients as a partner rather than a vendor. We have worked hard over the years to ensure that our rapid growth does not have a detrimental impact on this entrepreneurial, 'partnership-first' culture. That is why the combination of awards recognizing both rapid growth and high quality are particularly meaningful for us. This combination speaks volumes about the hard work and dedication of our employees."
